KAI CHOY

 

 

INGREDIENTS

 

3 Mustard greens (kai choy)

100g Pork sliced

5 Banana prawns cleaned and sliced in half

1 Egg

3 Tofu pok (fried tofu) sliced

1/2 Onion sliced

1 Garlic clove chopped finely

1 tsp Chicken stock powder

Salt to taste

2 tbsp Cooking oil

 

Corn flour mix

1 tsp Corn flour

1 tsp Soya sauce

1/2 cup Water

2 tsp Oyster sauce

1 tsp Ginger minced

METHOD

 

 

Mix the corn flour mix ingredients in a small bowl and set aside until needed

 

Heat cooking oil in a fry pan on high

 

 

Add the garlic. Fry until fragrant.

 

 

Add onion and fry until it starts to soften

 

 

Add chicken stock

 

 

Add pork

 

 

Add salt

 

 

Add prawn

 

 

Add tofu

 

 

Add kai choy

 

 

Add corn flour mix and stir through well

 

 

Cover and reduce heat to medium, cook for about 3 minutes

 

 

Increase heat to medium high and add egg and stir through

 

 

Serve on boiled rice with your choice of meat dish
